Warning: This post contains massive amounts of self absorbance and is of absolutely no use, you might aswell throw it in the bin, but I had to write it.
I just watched an art documentary on a guy who made I think it was 80 paintings in different nuances of the pink hat on Jackie Kennedys hat the day of the assasination, and all I could think of was, "why aint I like that?"
You see, I have a serious problem when it comes to pink. I see it in everybody elses creations and love it. It can be so strong yet so soft and beautiful. But when it comes to ME making something in pink, it's a whole different story. I think my creations look infantile, dumb and absolutely blaah.
For instance, I've been working on the earrings in the photo for the last THREE DAYS! I've changed about a million things on them and they're still making me a bit unease when I see them. From the get go there was a pink tourmaline on there and the earrings were almost done when I suddenly couldn't stand looking at them, wripped them apart and replaced the pink with a red garnet. Since red is a form of pink, I figured it counts as a more daring creation from my side:)
Now, understanding that my incapacity to do pink stuff isn't the end of the world and that it's probably the smallest problem on this earth right now, it's still pretty damn irritating.
